Neutron activation technique is used to measure the formation cross sections on even-even target nuclei with 14.6 MeV (n,2n) reactions. The absolute values are calculated by using an integrated pre-equilibrium statistical model. The result gives a gencral good fit to the experimental data and shows the existence of shell effect on the cross sections. Problems related to the effect are discussed.
