Interferometry signatures of hydrodynamic sources with fluctuating initial conditions

Abstract:

We investigate the space-timeevolution of the hydrodynamic particle-emitting sources with the fluctuatinginitial conditions generated by Heavy Ion Jet Interaction Generator (HIJING).In order to detect the event-by-event inhomogeneity of the sources, we examine thedistribution of the error-inverse-weighted fluctuations, f, between the two-pionBose-Einstein correlation functions of single and mixed events. We find thatthe distribution of f becomes wide forthe fluctuating initial conditions. The large values of the distribution widthand the root-mean-square frmsare the signatures of the hydrodynamic particle-emitting sources with the fluctuatinginitial conditions.
