Abstract: The nuclear charge pickup cross sections of 84Kr on CH2, C, and Al targets are investigated using CR-39 nuclear track detector at the highest energy of 395 MeV/u. The cross sections for H are calculated from those measured on C and CH2 targets. The dependence of the charge pickup cross section on target mass is studied.
