Application of data-glove-based virtual simulation for nuclear facilities operation

Abstract:

Application of force feedback data glove allows workers to operate virtual objects directly, for simulating the work process of high dangerous radiation environment, which provides a new solution to improve the training effect of repair personnel of nuclear facilities. According to the current application situation of virtual simulation technology operation training in domestic nuclear facilities repair, as well as the needs of replacement simulation of the target for liquid lead cooled reactor, modeling and control of virtual hand, collision detection between virtual hand and virtual objects based on force feedback data glove were studied. Force feedback data glove has been used to control the virtual roaming and replacement interactive operation simulation of the target. The experimental results show the effectiveness and practicability of the virtual model.
